Germaine De Capuccini introduces new massage based on spice balm

Spa Marine Spice is an exciting launch for Germaine De Capuccini in 2008 that draws on different influences from the silk route and the Far East. These spa therapies utilise the uplifting, healing and sensorial benefits of the spices from India, Turkey, Sri Lanka and the Moluccan Islands. Amongst the new treatment launches planned, there are two distinct massage treatments that have been developed according to traditional techniques and use a revolutionary new product – a skincare resin, which combines the benefits of a cream and oil. Similar to a balm, with a rich moisturizing intensity, this resin leaves the skin light, pampered and most importantly not slippery or overtly oily. For professional use only, Cinnamon Delight and Saffron Delight are applied to the skin and massaged using traditional manual manipulation as well as healing Obsidian Stones and nautilus sea shells to conduct the relaxing and therapeutic massage. These new skincare resins can be experienced at the hand of expertly trained Germaine De Capuccini therapists nationwide.

This massage treats the skin providing a host of rejuvenating and regenerating benefit as well as providing the high content of carotenoids. Saffron is high in lycopene which is one of the richest sources of anti-oxidants, helping to diminish damage and slow skin ageing. The essential oils of Coriander, Cardamom, Ylang-Ylang are anti-oxidising, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic whilst offering relaxing and aphrodisiac qualities.

Each treatment lasts one hour and costs from £68
